Ministry cuts Russia’s 2017 oil exports forecast to 255.7 mln tns

MOSCOW, Sep 29 (PRIME) -- The Economic Development Ministry has lowered its forecast for Russia’s oil exports in 2017 to 255.7 million tonnes from 257.7 million tonnes, the ministry said in a presentation on Friday.

The ministry projects oil exports at 256.7 million tonnes in 2018, 264.7 million tonnes in 2019, and 266.7 million tonnes in 2020.

Exports of oil products are expected at 154 million tonnes in 2017, 156 million tonnes in 2018, 150 million tonnes in 2019, and 151 million tonnes in 2020.

The ministry also raised its forecast for Russia’s gas exports in 2017 to 209.6 billion cubic meters from 197.3 billion cubic meters. Exports are expected at 197.4 billion cubic meters in 2018, 202.4 billion cubic meters in 2019, and 206.4 billion cubic meters in 2020.

The ministry also raised the price of gas exports to non-CIS countries to U.S. $187.8 per 1,000 cubic meters in 2017 from $183.
